When Mindy Mae’s Market, an online marketer, goes viral
It’s the week of May 14th, 2021.
I’m sitting in a coffee shop with some friends, discussing how to launch a new business on social media.
I’ve been working on an online marketing campaign for several years, with a client, but it’s still in its infancy.
We have no advertising budget.
It’s a brand new idea.
We’ve set up an adblocker, we’ve set it up, but what we’re lacking is the revenue from it.
The adblock is a pain in the ass, but that’s a luxury we can’t afford.
We’re just trying to get through the day, but the only way to do that is to keep doing what we are doing.
I tell my friends that we are going to launch Mindy’s Market on the social media platform of the internet, but we need to know how to get it to be successful.
We’ll launch the site with our ads, but then we’re not going to get paid, nor will we get any money.
I start talking to my friend, a young woman in her early 20s who is a student, a recent graduate, and a mother.
We share a joke, which turns into a discussion about how we’re all going to die within the next three years.
She says that she’s going to miss me, but I’m going to survive.
We decide to launch the website with the ads and hope to get a few hundred new users.
I explain to my friends and the women in my group that we need the advertising to generate revenue.
They’re sceptical, but they understand that we have a plan, that we’re doing something.
I can’t believe that this is happening to me.
I thought we’d never be able to do this.
Mindy, a 24-year-old social media marketer who is also a mother of two, tells me that she wants to be a marketer.
I ask her if she has any clients that she would be interested in getting paid for her work.
She tells me she has a couple of clients, but she’s been trying to find an online platform to help them grow their businesses.
The business she is working on is called The Fresh Market.
We all laugh, because I’m in my early 30s, and I still have my eyes open.
I see that the site is just a few minutes away from my house.
I wonder how many people I’ll need to sign up.
I check the traffic stats, and realise that it’s not a huge amount.
I then realise that I haven’t registered any customers yet.
I look at Mindy and say, “You’ve never had so many customers before.”
She looks confused.
“Oh, I was just trying not to think about it,” she says.
I get a message from her.
“Hey, I’m so sorry, I have to go.
We need your help.”
She gives me a quick look at the site.
“It’s just a simple app that lets people share their products on social networks,” she explains.
She has a smile.
“I’m happy to share with you the new product.
I don’t want to be late, I don ‘t want to do anything else.
You can download it right now.
Just click on the button.”
Mindy goes on to tell me that The Fresh Markets adblock, which costs $1 a day, will be removed from the app by June 4th, 2022.
I am thrilled.
I have a client.
I won’t need to spend $10,000 for advertising on a site like this.
The Fresh market has the potential to be an amazing social media marketing platform.
And it’s free.
Minds first product is the “Fresh Market App”, a mobile app that will be available for download in the app store on June 4.
I immediately jump on it, and it is a delight.
The app is a small app with a few screens that allow users to upload a few photos, and then they can then share them with their friends.
I love the simplicity of this app.
There is no registration or email registration.
The only way that a customer can sign up is through their phone number.
This is important, because a lot of people think that they need to register their phone numbers with the social networking app.
However, Mindy says that it is easier to share photos with friends than it is to register with the app.
“We have thousands of friends already, and we’ll be able do this as a one-off.”
Mindies product has a lot going for it.
There are a number of options for the user, including the ability to add products, buy them and add them to the shop.
There’s also the option to send a link to friends.
The users are given the option of sending a photo to the friends in the shop, and they can either send it
